Warning - Check Rear right fog light message

I switched on the fog lights and noticed an error message saying check rear right fog light and a warning triangle in the middle. Went out and see that it’s an LED integrated into the assembly, no bulb to replace. I find this odd as an LED can’t go wrong so quickly and there’s three LEDs in it. Has anyone else had this issue? Will do a scan and see what codes it brings up.

LEDs fail too.
I've had single bulbs in an array fail, for example a single bulb in a strip spoiler brake light on a Honda - made it look like a smiling tramp with a missing tooth.
I've had whole units fail.
I think people confuse 'less likely' to fail with 'won't fail'.

I had a single led fail on a high level brake light on my previous car a Seat Leon, complete unit replaced under warranty ( after 4years)
