RCD200 to GAMMA in 9N3 help

Hi friends. I hope everybody is keeping well... This is my first post on here, but I have been using the forum for many years on and off for help on some of the 6N2 models I have owned - thank you for everything so far!
I have recently made a move to a 2007 9N3 match, and am very happy with it. However, I don't rate the RCD200, and would like to stick an older GAMMA headset back in. I have read lots of threads on how to replace a gamma with RCD200, but none the other way round... can anybody help? or is it a non starter due to the CANBUS?
