Hey Guys.
Looking for a guide on the Polo 6R GTi Reverse light not working.

All was working till a few days ago
Have a globe light on the dash.
Reverse light not working.
Tried fuse diagram - NO fuse in 27.
Tried globe and the globe works in another socket.
No power to reverse light socket.

Reverse gear works fine.
All other lights on the same cluster work.
Any suggestions on what to try. And yes I know it only has one reverse light.

Measure voltage on the socket from rear light. It is the black/blue wire what comes from the BCM T73b/12.
Measure voltage at the connector what goes in to the rearlight maybe contacts are corroded.

Maybe it's better with automatic transmission for read out with VCDS or something equal.
SB27 is only for manual transmission
If there are no faults only that bulb is broken measure resistance if wire is not broken from BCM to connector rearlight.

Where is the BCM located.

So from the bcm I need to measure the voltage on the black blue wire then see if I get any voltage at the reverse light globe socket.
(At the light socket nil )

It's a DSG so there is no sensor or relay. Only thing could be a broken gear selector mechanism (canbus), broken wire somewhere or defective BCM.
