There seems to be various auto headlamp conversion switch and sensor kits on eBay. I bought one this week which partly works, the auto facility works but I couldn’t get the fog lamps to work and the switch itself when locked into position in the dash was a bit out of line.
There are 2 main types for sale, one is a lot longer body with the bigger connector, the other short with a mini connector.
If anyone has managed this successfully for the polo GT (6C) I wouldn’t mind knowing what they bought

Hi. I’m interested in doing the auto headlight upgrade and I was just wondering what kit you bought? Was it easy to install?

i'm yet to see one that does fit into the dash correctly (bought from various sources amazon,ebay, aliexpress )

it seems they use the housing from a different car that sort of fits the polo but doesn't line up.
