Recently i bought a Polo for my wife. I love it and i would like to do some retrofits on it.

First issue: Library of BCM is missing at VCDS. I have to find a solution, maybe someone has it in the vcds folder at his computer.
I would like to retrofit:
1. Trip computer (already bought the property stalks)
2. Puddle lights at doors
3. Footwell light at passenger and driver side
4. Light at grovebox
and many more....
I already order a used BCM 6C0-937-089-D in order to retrofit MFSW in the future...
Any advice and help is welcome

1rst issue:
missing library of BCM for 6C. Is there anyone how has it on his Vcds folder to share it with me ?
It is critical for my, in order to continue with the BCM swap, and BCM settings (long coding)

perhaps the easiest way is to obtain a real hex v2 enthousiast, with 3 VIN license

yes probably you are right.
Meanwhile i install the newest official release, even there i couldn't find that kind of library.
I will try though a friend that has the original real cable to see what i will get.

Today i started the conversion for MFD
Removed the steering wheel, replaced the stalks, putted new wires to the connector of the stalks. Also i putted new wires to the clock spring for MFSW.
The schematic for my car is this: (thanks iichel)
The contacts are all MQS (micro quadlock system).
Everything were fine.
Now i have to connect the other side of my new wires to the connector of the BCM.
The stupid question is how am i going to do this in such a small place. I removed the BCM but still the space is so little.

OK searching on the net i found a picture of a guy laying down on the floor of his Polo. First he had removed the front seat !!!
So i did the same.
I finished with the wiring. I tested if the new buttons of the stalks. They are not working, nothing happened to the cluster display. So i have to search for activation. Probably a bit on the BCM module has to be activated or something like that.
Right now any help is welcome

I've got the same problem
Wiring is ok, stalks not working. I think that problem is in IC. Mine is basic one..
Maybe there is someone at forum with basic IC and can show us coding from vcds

Well, today i made the 1rst attempt to swap the BCM
The swap was an easy process. But i failed to the coding process.
A lot of errors and warning messages.
The translation of the Radio message from Greek to English is: The component protection is active !
I plugged the VCDS and started the scanning
Errors and more errors.
I found out that the Transport Mode was active, so i de-activated it. I managed to fix some errors, but not all of them. The most common is the
"15360512 - Component Protection"

I did, i copied the old coding to the new BCM.
I think the component protection (CP), requires on line connection with the VW servers. So it's a thing that only an registered VW agent can solve.

Finally, after a long time i managed to visit a VW "specialist" to swap the cluster and the BCM
We swapped both Cluster and BCM at the same time, and after a lot of tries and time we didn't managed to successfully swap those 2 components. We remove the new BCM and install the old one, and finally had some progress.
A long story sort we did the cluster swap. I had the 6c920730G and now i have the 6C0920740C. It seems to working fine. ( i have some errors with VCDS but is it working.)
I have a problem and i want your help please.
The remote locks are not working. I can lock and unlock the doors only with the key not with the buttons. So how can i pair my keys ? (i have the original BCM on my car)

Today i discovered that the (09) Cent.Elect had the Transporter Mode Active !!! (i don't know why)
So i went into 09 Central Electronics, under adaptions - changed transport mode to "not active". I also had to put in the security code before doing this.
But the problem not solved The remote lock doesn't work with either key. Any idea?
