wiring harness to get around the radio/memory loss (aftermarket stereo)

Hi All,
Don't really want to get in to the whole re-pinning of conectors, so figured it easier to get a iso harness for the new radio.
The reason for an adapter search? The radio loses all settings if you just "plug'n'play" into the VW harness.
Care to point me in the right direction for which is the right one - there seems to be a minefield of different ones out there (some promising a switch-over of permanent live etc, some not so clear)
