OEM Fog lamp retrofit

Hi all,
Hope you're keeping well. I'm trying to do an OEM Fog lamp retrofit, but I've run into a bit of an issue with the wiring.
I've already successfully swapped the BCM to an 087, and I've swapped the fog lamp switch for a genuine used switch with front fogs on.
I've bought a retrofit loom, this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265168935918
The struggle I'm having is how to get this loom through the firewall. I've seen some people use the grommet above the passenger side strut, but the loom isn't long enough. I'd rather not modify the loom, as it is perfectly complete as it is.
Is it a pain to add an additional wire to the main loom, where it goes through the firewall? Any suggestions for better places to get through?
