2009 Polo headunit upgrade

Recently, i removed my RCD200 stereo because a friend of mine accidentally got some drink over it and for some reason it then shorted out and was draining my battery. I want to get a new headunit but there's some things i want to iron out before making a purchase.
Firstly, i haven't plugged the RCD200 back in yet but would buying a new headunit preferably an aftermarket touchscreen one cause battery drain again? (parasitic leak).
Secondly, would this headunit fit my car. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08CRFSFPM/ ... KYKN42DVY0 (The car is a 2009 1.2L VW POLO Match.
Thirdly, would i need any external wires or anything to fit this into my car.
