Just a heads up for anyone expecting delivery of their new car, the ports authority in South Africa, Transnet, were hit by a cyber attack (ransomeware) and are unable to ship anything, declaring a force majeure.

it's only a couple of months ago one of the world's largest NVOCC companies (ECU) was crippled by ransomware too.
World shipping is an utter mess as it is, 38 years in the freight business and I've never seen anything like it, these things just make it all so much worse.
