I think the real problem is that there are three of us involved in this story, and there is no fluid communication between some of those involved.

What if we change the title of this thread:

The incredible tales of doing whatever I want.

😂😂😂😂

On Friday, I will pick up the car, I will look for it, but I doubt that I will find the wrong wiring (too much searching) do you have any idea, maybe something with coding if it dims the parking space instead of drl?

I have ideas and luckily there are some possibilities for changes to try to get the correct operation of these lights, but you will have to take some pictures from the new wires for DRL and Parking lights that reach the BCM connectors and the headlight T10 connectors.
Let's hope the electrician used different colored wires.

We are going to wait until Friday or Weekend and have your Ibiza at home. Please let me know.

Apparently, there are wires in other colors, but it will turn out when I pick up the car , Saturday or Sunday I will take a day off at work and check, the problem in your opinion lies only in the bcm wires -> lamps or something else? I am going to go through the entire installation that he added / changed

There are two possible solutions once we verify that the wires are installed properly and the BCM coding is the one I told you at first.

Solutions:
1- via new BCM coding.
or
2- by placing two wires in other way.

If the communication between us is fluid, this shouldn't take you more than an hour to do.

Some information:
Well, after the tests that we have previously carried out and viewing some reviews on YouTube for Seat Ibiza 2016 (6P PQ26) with halogen headlights, we can know that the small LED module/v-strip for DRLs integrated in the halogen headlight does not have the dimming capacity.
It just turns ON in full brightness for DRL, that is, with the light switch in position 0 or AUTO with lights off.

When the Automatic lighting system (with CH/LH) is installed/present it is mandatory that the DRLs are under BCM control. If this 6P headlight is to be installed on an Ibiza 6J with automatic lights, these DRLs need to be connected to the BCM. viewtopic.php?p=585264#p585264

By other side, in the event that this 6P halogen headlight with the small yellowish bulb dedicated to the side/parking lights (POS) is installed in an Ibiza 6J, it is not necessary for these small yellowish bulbs to be connected to the BCM by individualized wires. Can be used the 6J original wires dedicated to the front side/parking lights, which are also connected to the BCM but in conjunction (same line) with the rear side/parking lights (EU 6J factory electical installation for halogen headlighs).

A new BCM coding will be required.

I do not understand any of this 🤣😂 what you wrote I will mean that everything is well connected and the correct bcm encoding is needed? But have I misunderstood? 😅

Do not worry, once you take photos from the connectors/wires that I said in one of my previous posts and post a "NEW" autoscan (after doing the photos), I will tell you what you have to do, it will be very easy for you, ...nothing to worry about.

This whole story is because there are 6P headlights on an Ibiza 6J and it is necessary to make this 6P headlights fully compatible with the current conditions of your 6J (Auto Lights).

viewtopic.php?p=587233#p587233 ... Study the blue square in the diagram ...

Due to the shortage of time today (wiring installation + gluing the seat heating mats) I was able to take a photo of the headlamp plugs, tomorrow I will make an UPDATE and upload a photo of the BCM plugs (A, B)

On encoding: 7C8829F88861010001200EF06EEB9EC85FC067FF608D30C1200000030000

The AUTO option is illuminated on the light switch, the AUTO is not illuminated, the LED is lit with full power, the parking option is dimmed

It seems that someone did not follow my instructions precisely.😄

I wonder why people think that things work with the logic that they think it is?
When an electronic component is inserted in the electrical operation of components (in this case a NEW BCM) anything is possible without the usual logic of things.
The wires for the side/parking lights can have different locations in their connection "in this NEW BCM" by depending on the equipment installed.

Let's wait for the images of the BCM connectors.

Please, pay attention to the wires that go to:
T73b/3, T73b/5, T73b/6 (white connector)
T73a/5 (black connector)

... and please don't cheats (in case you are doing them), I would like to get this over with as soon as possible.

you already have any suspicions of wiring errors?

It seems to me is this an original cable?

I would also like this electrician to be finished a long time ago 😂🤣

We are unlikely to come to the color of the cables because it did not have such long cables and made a 2-cable bridge

So our destiny from this point is the realm of assumptions.

Let's imagine that everything is well installed.🤔

Image

Let's try a new BCM coding:

7C8829F88861010001200EF06EEB9EC85BC062FF608D30C1200000030000 ....Let's start!

NOTE: To avoid confusion I will send you new BCM codings one by one. Each one of them will provide me with essential data, you just have to test each one of them and tell me the results, please take a pencil and paper to write down the results.

Please use this format:

Light switch position.

- 0 =

- AUTO:
Lights ON =
LIghts OFF =

- Parking =

- Low Beam (dipped beam) =

and faults or events in the diagnosis.
