It’s when the brakes are hot, you apply your brakes then start to pull away slowly and you can hear a high pitched noise where the brakes bind. It goes away as soon as your gather some speed

The brakes shouldn’t be binding on a car that’s less than 6 months old. It’s under warranty, so I’d try a different dealer in your area. If it involves a few miles drive to a different nearby dealer, then there’s a good chance the brakes will be warm / hot through use on the journey there, so hopefully it’ll be easy to reproduce the issue as evidence of there being an issue. You could also get someone to travel in the car and record the noise for the dealer’s benefit. Be aware that brake linings and disc pads are considered as wear and tear items under VW’s new car warranty, and wear and tear items are only covered for the first 6 months or 6,500 miles, whichever occurs first.
