The OEM fog lights on the GTI 6C are quite cream don't match the headlights particularly well..

Has anyone replaced these with whiter-looking ones? Could you advise what sort I need or some fitting instructions?

Yes i have replaced the fog light bulbs to led canbus ones& they match the brightness of the headlights better, but it brought a error warning on the dash which was the usual phanton error as the fog lights were fine , the error kept coming on but i found a setting on the obdeleven tool that corrects that for when you change from halogen to leds .i dont get that error warning now .

I’ve changed mine for the same reason and found no errors occurred with these bought from eBay

I notice on the link with the led fog lights you brought have a cabled adapter?
The ones i brought look like the original halogen ones but with leds

I Went for those because they have a heat sink and fan to remove heat from the unit and are quite compact , the actual ones I got are slightly different , the ones linked are similar but only 6000K mine were 6500K ,the ones you pictured have NO way of removing heat build up.
