Front bumper bolt

I removed the bumper to attend to a headlamp issue and paint o/s front panel. I had to drill out the n/s bumper retaining bolt and so need to replace it. There are some on eBay but they look slightly different (appear slightly longer and with a lead-in rather than full length thread). Are these interchangeable?
