So just went and picked up my new Polo Gti 2018 and drove it about 10 hours home. and I love it!! Ive seen lots of people on forums saying they dont think they sound that great but I think they are awesome especiallly the backfires. Already wondering if theres a way to make the pops and bangs any louder without significantly increasing the sound of the engine? Also, am thinking of a stage 1 tune, but would it even be worth it with the amount of wheel spin you get from a stand still even stock? Feel like any more torque or HP and youd be feathering the throttle abit too much from a stand still.

Any helps appreciated, cheers from New Zealand

Change the downpipe. It makes a massive difference.

Another exhaust system, like the Milltek non resonated catback. I'm very content with it.
I have had a remap up to 271 HP and 450 Nm. Of course there is wheelspin when revving from standstill, as in every front wheel driven car with a lot of power. So better don't put the pedal all down at the very start. But besides that, I experience no problems. Even with CrossClimates 2 under it.
