Speedo stopped working

Hello so I have a polo project car that I’m working on. It came with loads of issues that one by one I’m fixing including the airbag light. I brought the resistors for the cables and still the light stayed on so I went about removing the LED for the light, I removed the cluster and took the speedo needle off and removed the light and put everything back in reverse. Now I have no speedo! Just the rpm and all the other needles (temp, fuel) all work fine. Strange as everything worked before, and on my obd scanner I can see that it’s reading the speed. Any help would be appreciated
