Keyfob not working despite new batteries

Hi, my keyfob stopped working last week to remotely lock and unlock the vehicle. I have tried a new battery but the light isnt flashing on the fob. I have tried various "resetting" procedures found online but no luck. Anyone experienced this and know how to fix it?
