Hi, had to replace drivers door window regulator on son's polo due to a failing cable. Obviously had the door card off and all electrical items unplugged. Back together and working fine. He cleaned car and hoovered it, moving seats back and forward to do so after window mechanism replaced. After about 5 miles on first journey since, the airbag warning light comes on. Wondering if disconnecting a sensor in the door card has caused this or whether a seat airbag connector has been dislodged? I only have a cheap generic obd reader which may or may not help with this. I'll try it tomorrow night when he's back home. If no joy my brother has a vcds so a trip to him should sort it.
Any ideas?

He's visiting your brother regardless of the cause being solved. An airbag warning light will only go away after it's cleared. Never by itself.

Cheap generic obd2 reader didn't pick up the fault so vagcom it must be.
