Hello!
I have polo 6r 1.2tdi bluemotion 2012. Im plans a brake swap at 312/256(now it's 256 / drums). I wanted to buy a master cylinder from WRC (6R1611019B). In serwis vw told me that the servo is different wrc-6R1614106F my polo-6R1614106G. Can I install a master cylinder wrc for my servo or do I need to change it? Master cylinder wrc and my servo everything will work as it should?

Yes it will work. I have the same setup. My brakes will come for sale in a couple of weeks.

Will you be again upgrading the master cylinder, or just swapping discs and callipers?

I already have the wrc master brake cylinder. I don't think there is anything larger than that for this car.

Does anyone have a list of cars with engines that have the 23.8 mm brake master cylinder?I'm still having issues of sourcing one

Or if someone has a topic if some other brake master with modification would fit this car?

ah bummer thats why i cant find one. At least I can swap ESP 9.0i. Do you think is it possible to remove the abs pump on 1.6 tdi? it looks a bit tight with dpf and everything in the corner.

to remove the DPF i have to drop the subframe? Not possible to pull it thru with just removing the passenger driveshaft and its heat sheild?

I don't think you have the space to pull the dpf through this space without removing the subframe. It's a lot bigger than the egr. This will work with the driveshaft trick.

ah then its a nightmare

. Thank you
Do you maybe know if the downpipe from 2.0 TDI CR ( golf mk6, b6 passat) is roughly similar in shape to 1.6 TDI ? I could get the "oem" one for pennies

Yes I remember that detail. I have found this

~30Eur. Much cheaper than a new downpipe for 6R. Thinking of using the upper part ( vband, bung) and the bent part chopping it up. Much more cost effective than machining the bung, and v-band, and than having it towed to the exhaust specialist ...( budged build). Maybe they can make the difference using the DPF from the polo as reference and finally getting the 1549 mounted.
