It's interesting to see which buttons on the MFSW have backlights... :)

Slavik borrowed me his 3Q0 gateway so I could decide myself for some buttons like:
- ACC/normal cruise/limiter
- Travel assist or no travel assist (that's the question)
- Heating or no heating

I decided on:
- ACC because ACC button is CC cancel button with CCE
- Heating because I like heating
- Travel assist because why not

The VIEW button and voice control button are always present, at least I found no way of disabling them.
VIEW is probably always there because these wheels belong in cars with AID
and the voice control only has a function if you purchase the FEC for voice control, probably VW's way to shame you into buying that as well.

With the CCEmulator '2021' the functions are assigned to the ID of the buttons, in the case of capacitive MQB buttons, it is first necessary to enable the button IDs via coding, ... by test bench or MQB vehicle.

Examples:

I took the opportunity to flash it to the latest version ...

These last two images are clues for something that I won't say because I want to know how many years it takes for someone to achieve the same thing I did.

Yes and no... I think the update should fit within the possibilities of the car and the up does not have all the space for update like the Polo does. And I think the up project is not out less complete

I am not really missing anything apart from good headlights. My 1967 VW already has h4, now it's 2022. Wtf VW?

Otherwise, for this VW up I do not miss anything so the car is perfect

Totally agree.

Your Super UP! looks gorgeous. A real gem.👌

I searched for one here, but didn't find the right one.
For us it would be a very useful car until 2035. :)

I'm willing to trade a certain white Polo 1.2 TSI for a certain VW Up ;) haha

I wouldn't even mind if we did temporary changes to get new feelings, but my wife loves the 6R.
Luckily she uses it for all her rides, I have to settle for her Golf...

I feel so bad for you, having to settle for the SuperGolf. Imagine all the luxury and comfort you have to suffer through

Great transformation of UP! is going on iichel👌

Does the capacitive wheel is comfortable to operate or you miss physical buttons?

It's easy to operate once you learn to handle them intuitively (it takes time).
Another positive aspect is that they are very nice and futuristic (for those who handle the F 'smart'phones fluently),
but it is very, very easy to accidentally press the capacitive buttons when doing unusual maneuvers (special parkings, long and boring trips with all the assistants activated, race mode, drifting mode, etc...).

On my last trip of more than 1000kms, and without being aware of it, I pressed them 4 or 5 times without knowing or wanting to.
In my case, the button that beats the rest in terms of being accidentally pressed is the heated steering wheel, which is fantastic for summer temperatures...

Fortunately I have steering wheels for all kinds of beings like me... viewtopic.php?p=591095#p591095
🤭

It all depends on the level of personal importance you want to give to all this... anyone can live perfectly with any model of buttons, although the 'Standard' ones are clear and precise.😉
