Lowering GTI

Hello! Just taken delivery of a 2018 GTi+. The arch gap is massive so looking at lowering it a little. The car has DCC adaptive dampers I believe. Anyone know if there is any issue using Eibach lowering springs? On demon tweeks the springs are listed as for “standard” dampers and not for adaptive… Obviously if you go for coil overs the car will probably throw a warning light on the dash if it can’t detect the adaptive dampers but I can’t see there being an issue if just changing the springs. Or am I missing something here? Many thanks for any help or advice. Keen to hear from anyones experience using Eibach on the AW GTi. Tom

The racingline ones state they work with both dcc and non dcc without throwing errors. Not sure how true this is though.

I got vw to do my 2016 polo 1.8 gti a week after i drove it off the showroom floor , i purchased the eibach lowering springs from vw as they were warranty friendly aswell , i paid £130 for the springs & they put them on at no extra cost , i think they had to do some adjusting though because of the electronic damping .
Did u get the car off vw dealers? If you did you could aske them if they are selling the eibach springs & can they fit them if they do .
