5th gear able adjustment Polo 9n 2004

Hi All
A while ago I adjusted the cables as 1st gear was difficult to engage. All gears now 1 to 4 are so easy to get. 5th however can be hit and miss.
I have been so reluctant to adjust all again and undo the adjustment I have already made to improve.
There are 2 cables, is there a chance that one is for 5th and if adjusted again won’t affect the others?
Any advice and possible can someone advise which of the 2 cables I need to adjust
