Digital cockpit

Thinking of purchasing a demonstration Polo life dsg with 22 plate, but I've noticed it only has a base version of digital cockpit, I was wondering if it is possible to add cockpit pro as a add on, new to vw

www.leightonvans.co.uk as they are fitting a lot in the transporters.
The dealership in theory should be able to retrofit, but I know my van dealer wasn`t interested when we had ours.
There was an issue on a transporter FB site with a van that had to have a software update, or reinstall, and the dealership had wiped the software for the dash - or whatever- it didn`t work after. As they only put the same back, which didn`t include the dash. The guy was asking for advice as the garage that did it was miles away to return for the software to be reinstalled.
I`m not sure of that outcome - as you can`t drive without the speedo, but this does seem so far to be the only 1 affected....
It has put me off a bit, and we were waiting for our Polo to arrive to see what its like, but that`s taking forever and my van is a year old now , so I would have 2 years
warranty with either retrofitter.

Sorry my eyesight, thought you wanted the digital cockpit.
If you mean updating the media unit, possibly the dealership. Best to ring the salesperson. You might get a better response if you're buying the car..
