Hi guys
I’ve been surfing the net for some time now and struggling to locate a auto light loom.
I found a few old threads but can’t find the how to or any info where I can buy one.

Used or new either or.

Thanks in advance

Does you car meet the requirements? BCM max 088/089/090 and rain and light sensor

I’m sure it’s bcm max. I’ve retrofitted dimming mirror and rain sensor went to fit auto lights and noticed that my light switch is the big plug

Also I’d like to look into xenon headlights if this is easily doable? Whilst doing the auto light swap?

It depends on the answer on my earlier questions

I’m currently away and won’t be back until next week to check, but I’m almost certain it’s the top BCM
Failing that if it isn’t.. I can get a BCM that would allow me to have these options correct?

Thanks

Yes you can retrofit all you want... BCM, autolight, bixenon, but it all depends on how much work it is and how capable and comfortable you are with making wirings and/or installing wirings and performing coding.

Fairly comfortable with it, are you able to help? Or make the auto light loom and I can make the rest?

Thanks

I can make an auto loom if you have the BCM max. Or if you're handy with wirings yourself, you could make it yourself. If you do not have the BCM max, you need to make a complete BCM max conversion. That is not a one size fits all solution.

The bixenon conversion itself is a matter of coding and adding one or two wires per headlight and a different plug. If you have the BCM max. And the auto levelling headlight system if you like/need.

Could you drop me a PM please ? It won’t allow me to message you direct I think due to being new?
Thanks

Why a PM? This is fine, right?

That’s fine,
I’ll find out what bcm I have
It’s for a transporter T5.1 but I’ve noticed they share a lot of electrics with polos and ready various posts it’s pretty much the same todo to a polo then a transporter.

The part number on the bcm is as follows: 7H0937087P

It’s the high line model

Thanks

In that case you will need to upgrade your BCM to 089/090 and do all adaptations to your electrical installation. There are some topics on the BCM max retrofit here. There you will find a lot of information on this subject.
