Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Have looked far and wide across the internet and cannot find any information on how to remove the rear door handle on a Polo 6R 2011.
All sources suggest theres a hole under the weather strip parallel to the door handle where you can stick in the handle removal tool and pull back however my door does not have said hole. I have attached a picture of what mines looks like instead.
I’ve attached a picture of what my door looks like as well the door card. Please help asap if you have any idea.
Thank you

Just remove the sticker from the hole and all unnecessary question marks from your post please.

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
I have removed the question marks from the subject title.
Have you removed the sticker and seen this work yourself? It doesn’t seem like a sticker that wants to / should be removed.
I’ve tried prying at it and doesn’t seem to budge. Will continue trying to force it off if you’re confident it’s the correct method

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Have tried to continue to pry it off but the sticker doesn’t seem to move.
Will try again and update the thread tomorrow when I have a heat gun which will hopefully help.
Also by any chance have you got a part number / link / part name for a replacement sticker as I want it to return to how it was.

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
I took some black tape to close the holes on my car.

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Thank you I appreciate all your help on this matter. How did you manage to get the sticker off? Did you also have difficulty with it in that it’s extremely strongly bonded on.
Hoping someone can give me an official replacement part as this is a customers vehicle that’s being wrapped and need it to go back exactly as it was found.

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
I would call them just don’t know what exactly it’s called or how to explain it to them as there is no part number.
Update: was not able to take the sticker/rubber off after much frustration will have to take a knife to it tomorrow it seems.
Can someone else please confirm if this is the correct passage to remove the door handle before I do so.

Looks as if it’s probably item no 12 on the diagram at the link below. If so, then it’s described as webbing adhesive tape - part no. Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Hi guys,
I removed the interior door trim for some work which also made me remove the interior door handle, upon fixing back the interior door trim and door handle I have noticed that I have lost the typical VW Hard and solid feel which was there on the door handle while opening the door.
My guess is I have either missed out on some proper fitting mechanism or I have not fitted back the handle in correct way.
Can anyone help me in this?
TIA.

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Check if interior door handle is locked properly into door pad. Also check for broken/ damaged door pad locks.kartikhere_2498 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:16 pm Hi guys,

Re: Polo 6R rear door handle removal
Replace the door clips(locks) accordingly, to prevent any rattling/play. If I remember correctly, there are 2 types of clips used, one shorter and 4 longer per door pad.kartikhere_2498 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 6:20 pm

Would you mind sharing what kind of work/ retrofit done to remove door pad/ handles.

Where can I source the clips from? I believe the service centre won't sell it over the counter.
Coming to the second thing, the windows rolling up and down was slow and the motors were really struggling making loud noises, I serviced the motors and greased the window roller assembly.
