VW Polo 2003 5 door 9n Passenger door won't open

Hi, I'm new to the group. I have just bought a 2003 VW Polo 5 door 1.4 FSI SE and the front Passenger door is locked shut. It won't open on the central locking with the rest of the doors. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks
