Intake kit options

Post by Cosmin »

Hi all,

I have finally decided to replace the stock intake on my Polo GTI. There are so many options on the market, which is great, but at the same time it's so complicated to decide on which one to buy.

I assume most of you already installed different models on your cars. Any recommendations?

These are my options at the moment:
1. APR PEX Open Intake System https://www.awesomegti.com/apr-pex-open ... 888-gen-3/ - £270
2. Ramair Jetstream https://clptuning.co.uk/product/ramair- ... lo-gti-aw/ - £180

Any other good options? I know there is stuff like Eventuri and Revo, but they exceed my budget for the intake. I am looking at something under £300.

Cheers!

The Ramair air one looks interesting, I was looking at the MST, it has great reviews for its Golf 7 application, think its about £240. Racingline one is nice but a bit pricey at around $600.

Leyo version looks interesting to me and it is made specifically for Polo and Tiguan. But can't say anything else since I don't own it.

I have been looking at the MST one, seems similar to the LEYO.

Currently can be had brand new for £300.

Agree racing line looks good but is pricey!

The Revo one states it also comes with an turbo inlet elbow - not sure the others do? Perhaps someone can confirm?
