Has anyone switched from Michelin PS4 tyres to the newer PS5 tyre on their AW Gti+?
I’ve recently returned from a 2K mile trip to the Algarve in Portugal where the car behaved flawlessly, and it won’t be long before I will be needing 4 new tyres on the car (18” Bresica rims), and I’m looking for feedback on the newer PS5 tyres

Not too many active AW GTI / GTI+ owners on the forum these days, so there may not be anyone who had PS4 tyres that have switched to the new PS5 version.Nora wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 7:26 am Has anyone switched from Michelin PS4 tyres to the newer PS5 tyre on their AW Gti+?

I’m still on PS4’s and will be for some time as they’ve still got plenty of life left in them.

I’m on PS4’s. Probably a bit early for people on here to have switched unless they are due tyres right now.
Can’t imagine them being worse though!

@Nora; not what you were asking for, but here’s a review of the PS5 compared to competitor’s tyres;

And here’s an article on what’s new with the PS5 compared to the PS4;

Re: Michelin PS4’s > PS5’s
I still have at least 18 months left with my PS4 but will replace with PS5 when ready.
Re: Michelin PS4’s > PS5’s
Just installed ps5 on 225/40/18 dimension ,does anyone knows the best pressure on this dimension ??
Re: Michelin PS4’s > PS5’s
I will probably come across to PS4 or 5's in time but will get a few miles on the Primacy 3 tyres first. Although the grip level seems pretty woeful. tried several "prompt" getaways as opposed to full launch in traffic light GP and the wheels just spin very easily.
That is what reviews have said about spinning very easily and that clearly comes back to type of tyre. On the other hand the Fuel Economy has been good but just proves you can't have everything. I'll update once I get round to changing tyres but could be a while so don't hold breath

That is exactly what I was thinking..approximately 38 psi..
