I see theres plenty of black/red alternatives to the side badges, but the dimensions and shape are not correct for the aw polo gti.
Has anyone found anywhere that does them / have experience of removing the badges and seperating the chrome backing and lettering from the red?
Im talking about these;
De-Chromed side blade badges, anybody do them?

For anyone that was interested, nowhere does them.
However with a bit of patience and the right tools they can be separated once off the car using a soldering iron, then sprayed up and melted back together before putting back on the car.

Proper job ad, it'll go well with your de-chromed grille strip.
