Nice functional upgrade.
Did this to my polo 9N3 in the time.
That car had headlightwashers so 4.6L tank.
The polo AW (2021) does not have headlightwashers so smaller tank.
I believe that the T-Roc does not have them aswell?
Hence the smaller tank?

My T-roc too doesn't has headlight washers. There is no rule in my country to have headlight washers. May be it's a EU rule to have headlight washers, but then again I have seen few EU car models having it and few don't. I feel the washer fluid will stain the dome of headlights rather than cleaning them.
Should fit I think, compare your key with my stock key and you should get an idea.

BCM upgrade from BCM M+ to BCM H
My Stock BCM 5Q0 937 084 DG even though supports many features, it doesn't have necessary LIN bus pin (T73c/29) to support multicolour ambient lights, which I am planning to retrofit. So it was necessary to upgrade the BCM which supports multicolour ambient lights.
According to ETKA, 5Q0937084EC is the latest higher version BCM installed in latest T-roc's and other MQB models. The new BCM has T73c/29 pin as well as all the pins present in my stock BCM. Apart from T73c/29 there are also few extra pins in new BCM viz..T73a/42, T73c/35,36,37&61. I tried to find the assignment for these extra pins, but couldn't find any information. If anyone knows, please add the information.
I purchased the new unused high version BCM from AliExpress.
Comparison of stock vs new BCM:
Unlike in Polo PQ25 BCM's, which can be swapped straight and programmed offline, the MQB BCM's have component protection and whether the BCM is used or new, must be programmed online by connecting to VW servers aka FAZIT, the VW mothership
Dealer experience:
It is very important to make back up of adaptation channels of stock BCM either using VCDS( adphex format) or ODIS-E(.xml format). I made backup in both. The new BCM will be empty so we need to load our current adaptations later after successful programming.
First I tried to program the new BCM with the help of my dealer. The steps involved in online programming of BCM can be seen in picture below.
The first step, software configuration involves downloading the dataset, adaptations, and calibration adjustment settings. Once started..SVM online threw following error at the first step itself.

The error is self explanatory.. VW server only stores the data of BCM installed in my T-roc according to VIN number. So obviously new BCM is a mismatch and VW server throws the above error. We can skip the first step and proceed with CP removal and key programming which are mandatory online procedures. If we have correct dataset, then we can load it offline using ODIS-E or VCP and then load saved adaptations using VCDS or ODIS-E. Everything should work.
Even though I tried, but couldn't get the correct dataset for my new BCM. Here I would like to thank dear Master Ciclo for helping and guiding me in the right way.
Finally, with the help of Slavik( madwarlock) the new BCM was successfully installed in my T-roc. Everything was done online by connecting to VW mothership)))) I enjoyed the entire process of downloading and loading correct dataset, removing CP, programming keys and systematically clearing the errors. I must say, I learnt a lot from Slavik... for which my heartfelt thanks to him
Online programming was done entirely with my VAS 6154 clone, which worked flawlessly with newer ODIS versions I had installed on Windows 11.
After driving for 2-3 weeks with new BCM, I can say, everything is working perfectly without any errors.
It is preferable to load the backup adaptations using VCDS, as ODIS-E missed to transfer few adaptations after BCM was programmed online. Some lights were not working correctly, after retransferring adaptations using VCDS, everything was ok.

OEM Door wind deflectors+ OEM Sunblinds
Officially summer has started here.. even though heat insulated glasses are installed all around in my T-roc, but it is not enough for our frying summers.
Part numbers:
Wind deflectors ( front set): 2GA 072 193
Wind deflectors ( rear set): 2GA 072 194
Sunblinds ( rear set): 2GC 064 365 SUN
The parts were bought and installed from my dealer. The sunblinds are manufactured for rear glasses only for T-roc, missed out on tailgate glass.. typical VW goof up.
