Does anyone know if a 2016 Polo Blue GT fitted with the factory option Bi-Xenon headlights, are able to be retrofitted with the GTI models LED units easily, or will it be a pain ?

It's not super difficult, but you probably need to replace or re-flash the AFS unit that controls the headlight height.

remember the GTI has a red stripe inside so may stand out if not tied in with a GTI grille

they are available on non-GTI models so would look for some of them (possibly cheaper too)

I think UK spec 6c Polo SEL models got LED headlamps (without the red stripe) as standard.

A good upgrade, but super expensive even second hand items

Before I owned my 6c GTI with LED headlights, I owned a mk6 GTD Golf with optional xenon headlamps. From memory, I’d say there wasn’t a significant difference in terms of light output between the GTD’s xenon’s and the GTI’s LED’s.

@Norbreck21a - as you already have xenon headlamps on your Polo BlueGT, if they’re as good as the xenon’s were on my mk6 GTD, then they’ll be very good. Therefore in your position, I’d struggle to justify the cost to upgrade.
