Hi, the name is Andy. I have just swapped in my 2017 Mercedes C200 AMG Line Premium for a 2020 Polo GTI +.
Why ? I hear you say, well the last service + transmission fluid change was over £1,100.
New set of tyres also needed as current ones just starting to show ageing cracks, another £600+ at least.
We only cover about three thousand miles a year so that makes expensive motoring. Shame really as I have had MB's on and off since 1993. I am now retired and need to be a bit more mindful of where money is going.
Had a few VW's over the years too, the last being an EOS back in 2008 which was a pain with the unstoppable water leaks. We picked on a VW because we know that running cost's are affordable unlike MB.
I hope I haven't pirated someone else's thread but I couldn't find an 'Introduce yourself' thread. If that is the ase perhaps a Moderator could put this in the correct thread
