Build week tomorrow! How long until it arrives at UK dealer?

My car is finally getting built from W/C 31st October. I spoke to the dealer and they said it would be 6 weeks from the week it’s completed build so would be around 19th December at the dealer. I think 6 weeks is very soon, more like 8 weeks is most likely? I’m looking at 2nd Jan I believe. How long has others had to wait from build week to arriving at their dealer?

I thought the ocean going leg of the journey to the UK was usually around 6 weeks. The actual time to arrive at the dealer will depend on;
- how long it sits waiting dockside in South Africa before being loaded onto the ocean going transporter
- how long it’s parked up in a compound after arriving in the UK before it’s picked up by the car transporter to deliver to the dealers.

You might be lucky of course.
But going by other peoples recent experience/s (mine included), I expect early January 2023 is more likely.
Though at least you know that it's going to get built
