Yep, it's crazy.... https://www.kwik-fit.nl/autobanden/mich ... 0y19ps4sxl
I'm selling (at least trying to) my old Hankook tires (8mm tread) for about 400 euros and somebody is acting like the offer includes the Estoril rims as well

So I did some experiments with the facelift engine cover and... it fits!
After:
Before:
I took the cover from Seat 06k103925BM and removed the Seat logo, painted the TSI in red and ordered 2x WHT0007324
Fits like a charm.

Re: iichels VW Passat 2.0 TSI DSG 4-Motion 2017
Inspired by many others, I decided to make some aerodynamic improvements to the bottom of the car.
I already had the Alltrack kevlar skid plate: viewtopic.php?p=598271#p598271
Many of these parts will fit other cars on the MQB platform, be sure to check out the links below.
I had to cut some parts to make them fit, like the subframe cover and the rear/center panels near the fuel tank.
The result is pretty good, given that the factory panels are pretty poor; only the half sized splash shield up front.
The rear is a bit hopeless, it has the rear subframe wit the haldex and quite a lot of exhaust, so not much room to fit any panels.
I did my best for the rest of the car, the result is pretty good.

Re: iichels VW Passat 2.0 TSI DSG 4-Motion 2017
Thanks guys, I didn't get that reference, as a movie enthusiast I'm a bit embarrassed now!
I did some more retrofitting and I'll update this thread as well
Front Audi A3 8V jacking points: 8V0802845 (left) 8V0802846 (right) and 8V0804631 (both sides)
Rear jacking points 8V0802847 will fit the Mk7 golf, but not the Passat.
The front jacking points do need a different piece of underbody trim
So I had to get creative and then the trusty Polo is always a good fallback, they have the 8N TT pads all around.
So I got a set of 8N0804583 + 8N0803855 that do fit in, but need me to modify my freshly installed lower bodywork. 63mm hole

Re: iichels VW Passat 2.0 TSI DSG 4-Motion 2017
Since I got fed up with cleaning my rims every week, and I'm very keen on my T-Roc R wheels, I decided to change the OEM organic pads to EBC Redstuff.
This is a non-race ceramic-like pad that is said to produce less dust. On my Polo I really liked my ATE ceramic pads, so something similar was bought for the Passat

Re: iichels VW Passat 2.0 TSI DSG 4-Motion 2017
It's always addictive to have more power, no? 415 horsepower at the wheels is already really nice and will give some great acceleration and speed
But it's an IS38 and these are known for unreliability. So I had the opportunity to get a good deal on a hybrid IS38 (which this in essence is).
IS38:
This is what my seller got on his golf 7R:
This is what I have now:
I don't think I'll push it all the way to 550+, that would be too much stress for both the engine itself and the gearbox.
I'll probably stay in the low 500's with a very nice torque curve, but I'll wait for what the tuner has to say. Pushing 570 hp and 670nm is probably not reliable on this engine.
It will need upgrades in fuelling as well like HPFP (LPFP is already done) which I think is putting too much stress on the drivetrain.

Did some software updates...
From...
to
two errors are a bit of a bugger!

to
no dataset needed, no need to re-learn keys!
and
to
no dataset needed
to
needed dataset + to code again + do basic settings
to

SW 320/325/330

(same for 52, BB and BC)
to
needs parameters for pressure, I used tinyQ editor
Still thinking about doing 44 to M and 03 to BN.
I'll do 05 kessy to N but I heard that needs re-learning of the keys via online ODIS. I'll do that at the same time as a BCM upgrade to 084EC
6D will be updated to SW T as soon as I can find myself some parameters for that
3C/CF will be updated to 2Q0 with SW B
There are no updates AFAIK for 2B, 15, 47, 69, CA, D6 and D7 at all.
01, 02, 08, 13, 16, 17, 19, 5F, A5 and 6C have already been updated or replaced with the highest versions
To get rid of the errors in 0x10, I'll probably need to update the door control modules to HW F or something similar and retrofit 75 telematics.

Re: iichels VW Passat 2.0 TSI DSG 4-Motion 2017
0-100 in less than 5 sec is crazy! reminds me of song baby calm down ha ha ha
Those errors in address 10, could be due to uploading K dataset in L firmware?
Module 75( telematics ) is one cunning module to say the least. It wants to be informed of almost everything we change/ retrofit.
I thought I was smart, tried to split GPS signal meant for 75 module from roof antenna for newly installed Discover media, but telematics module wasn't happy to share signal and threw GPS signal open circuit error and cluster error everytime I started car damn. I hate this module
Those errors in address 10, could be due to uploading K dataset in L firmware?
