"Auto" Lights

I bet I am not the only one disappointed by the fact that only the Cross Polo could get the "Auto Lights" function even if there are base model Polos with rain sensors... So I was wondering if anyone ever tried to retrofit this function to a Polo with rain sensors. Any advice would pe appreciated!

yes i am interested to do this too. my 6R Polo Gti came with RLS(1K0 955 559 AH) and BCM Max. wonder will it work if i just put in a new switch with auto option, or does extra wiring needed

From what I have gathered you need an adapting loom to go with the new switch, but the looms aren’t cheap

auto lights is a retrofit that a lot of owners did.
Make a search to this forum, and also to the net, you will find a lot of staff for reading.
