Help with LED optics

Hello guys,
So i was thinking about purchasing and retrofiting LED headlights to my polo but i have some doubts. Is it easy to retrofit like is it plug and play or will the swap from non-led to led require coding?
Does the OEM optics with DRL have led beams or xenon?
Does anyone know where to buy OEM leds or some good aftermarket ones?
