My Son polo 9n 2002 has failed the MOT for the engine management light being on

its due to the throttle body code ,does it need to be programmed by vag com when you fit the new throttle body

I have VCDS-Lite with lead and can read error codes but not sure if it can programme the new throttle body

It will need calibration/re-adaptation. The full version of the s/w will do it. I seem to recall mention of a manual way and you mighty search the threads to see if you can find any info.
