Rear and Front windshield wipers malfunctioning

Hi guys i have a question about an electrical problem with my Polo 6n2 , 1.0L . I changed the rear window wiper because the old one was rusted, installed the new one and now when i plug in the motor the front wipers come on. Does anyone know what it can be ? (Fuses are all good) .
