My 2020 Polo Match does not have factory installed sat nav - so google or waze via my phone is the way to go.
With google all is well. but when trying waze (which I like graphically) - I have been unable to get any sound/commentary. I have tried everything, but without success so far. I feel sure that there is something so simple that I have not yet discovered.
Your Ideas and suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance

Well the sound will be based off the sound CarPlay is set to. So if google works fine, the issue must be the app itself. Check on your phone to see if you’ve disabled voice notifications - go to settings, voice and sound. There’s a slide for guidance volume.

Many thanks for your suggestion - have checked and guidence volume is turned fully on.
Im sure I am missing a simple solution, but at the moment I am baffled
