Steering wheel backing

Post pedal box recall - I've noticed that the back of the steering wheel has two recessed screws.
On both sides, it seems the dealer has managed to put a tear into the fabric around the holes - seems these screws are difficult to get out perhaps?
Not happy - another problem to take up with them
