Installing chrome rings onto the speedometer

I’ve realised there’s literally no information about this out there so I thought I’d help anyone who's thinking of installing these onto your polo

I bought these exact ones off amazon for £8;
(https://amzn.eu/d/i2HGWXs) and they do not come with any instructions so here is how I did it and what you should know

1. Take out the speedo, 2 T20 screws and a good pull along with unplugging 2 cables, if unsure search up a video on it

2. Unclip the back of the speedo

3. Gently take it apart

4. Now the painful part, you would have realised by this point there’s no way to install these as you have to take the perspex out and the only way to do this is by pushing it out with a bit of force, though before you do this acknowledge that once its out the perspex will not go back into place and you will have to DIY fix it as I have with tape

Whether you want to do this is up to you but here is what it looks like before and after + with lights

Looks nice. :D

There are also original VW clusters with the chrome dial rings.
OEM Only around the rev counter and the speedo
