Polo match 1.4 tdi mirror indicators

So, the passenger side wing mirror indicator on my 1.4 tdi polo was all badly cracked and full of dirt and water but it worked.
I ordered an aftermarket one off ebay that apparently was the correct one for my model, went to fit it and it only has 2 pins in the connector whereas mine has 3 so it didnt work.
No mention of this in the advert.
I’ve now ordered one off Amazon which shows the 3 pin connector so hopefully that is ok.
Whats the difference with the 2 pin and 3 pin and are they Led lights as i cant see an actual bulb inside?

They are all LED but perhaps you ordered a 6R version for your 6C?

Well, after putting in the car details it said it fits and the 1Z.949.101.C in the description matched up to whats on the original part but it has only 2 pins whereas my original has 3.
