Coolant leak.

1 litre non turbo engine with a coolant leak.
Evidence of water at bottom of the plastic cover circled in pic,top rest of engine, passenger side.
Is this a common place for a leak and what is it remedy, new gasket or component?

Water pump/Thermostat housing -- a very common problem

Any recomendations fof a new pump, is see some come with plastic housing, some without housing but with new belt.

I havent't (mine was done under guarantee..) - but there is a big thread about pump
