6C/6R Foglight surrounds

Hey
Recently smashed my 6c polo into a deer (fun times)
Managed to get a hold of 6r polo and stripped it for a front end (didn't have fogs), looking at replacing all grills to accommodate 6c foglights, does anyone know if 6r grills will work with 6c foglights don't imagine it'll be a problem just don't know if it'll block anything or actually fit correctly.
Any input would be appreciated
