Wrong current Location displaying on Discover Pro Navigation System

I have a polo gti 2023 model. Since yesterday my current location has been displaying incorrectly. Needless to say this makes the navigation system useless! I have tried a factory reset (meaning I had to re input my saved locations and radio stations 
), but this hasn’t fixed the problem. I have the Discover Pro system.
Does anyone have any suggestions please of how I can fix this?
The error first occurred when I had started up the engine and was selecting a saved location to drive to, I was also changing the driving profile selection. I suspect the system got ‘confused’ trying to do two things at the same time - whilst it was still ‘firing up’.
The ‘current’ location being displayed does change and is fairly close to me - say within a four miles radius.
