Oil leak around oil filter assembly but looks sealed at top

Hello all,
Is there a common oil leak issue at oil filler hosing shown in attachments?
Losing oil at a rate of 0.4-0.6 litre of oil per 300 miles.
Can a gasket leak at base throw up this much oil (as close to belts, and up a little on alternator?
Or can assembly crack (Chinesium
Not so funny?)
Since top gasket has no obvious clear oil runs.
Any advice appreciated.
