2020 Polo GTI DSG upshift problem - 2nd into 3rd

Hi all,
I've got a 2020 Polo GTI+ on 27,000 miles, and have recently noticed an issue when accelerating hard and shifting up from 2nd into 3rd when in manual mode (it's always been fine in auto mode). The car will go into 3rd but then feels as if it briefly goes back into 2nd, with the rise in revs and engine braking you'd associate with that, but by the time I've looked down at the dash to see what gear it's in, it's back in 3rd and everything is fine. I've had the car a couple of years now and only noticed this happening a few times in the past few months. It's not a big problem and doesn't happen often (at the moment), but I wanted to see if anyone had experienced something similar and what it might be, just in case it might turn into a bigger problem!
I did a search of the forum but only found one topic where someone had something similar, and it was where the car was holding onto 2nd and not shifting into 3rd, which isn't quite the same. They ended up having their mechatronic unit and gearbox replaced before getting a refund, so hopefully it doesn't end up like that!
Cheers.
