Hi all.
So my question is this, when I full throttle the car then lift off the throttle just slightly the car seems to pick up faster. Is this normal, due to fuel mix and ecu and air flow?
P.s the cars a 71 Polo GTI

I have only this feeling when downshifting, sometimes the rev matching doesnt clutch a bit longer

Can’t ever remember my 2020 GTI+ doing this in the 4 years I owned the car from Sept 2020 - Sept 2024.

Did you ever floor it get up the revs and lift off the peddle a mm or 2. Had read due to air mix fuel types and ecu it's common

If I was having fun I’d floor it for a bit then settle for steady driving, so effectively easing off. I had both a gti+ and the facelift gti and never experienced this issue.
