Part differences on the facelift GTI?

Hi all,

Does anyone know exactly which car parts (mainly engine) are different on the facelift GTI?

Spark plugs, coil packs, brakes etc? I can't find a clear list and I've found that some places show incompatible parts when I use the registration or manually enter the model (induction kits that don't fit for example).

MPI port gone on EA 888 Gen 4, bigger pressure on the fuel injection, AVS system so the camshaft completely different ... It's more an upgraded Gen 3 non B ... DSG7 (DQ38X), bigger continental raax turbo/garrett (it's more garrett, only the golf 8 has the bigger raax)

Rest is same ... Except the dashbord, etc ofc ...

Thank you. Do you know what that means in terms of spark plugs and coil packs?

I'm not enginer at all ... When I search the parts between those 2 engines, they are not the same ... So there is a reason lol, and it depends of the power they developp as well ...

What's your goal here ? The fastest way to find your answer, would be to ask directly to tuners who worked with the gen 4

Unless you are doing more than a "stage 2" , you don't really need to upgrade the spark ... If I'm not mistaken, only the mapper doing something extrem will ask for better coils or whatever ...

Unfortunately it's not that easy. All the tuners I've spoken with can't even get a remap sorted for these yet. It seems most have looked at it and then it's radio silence. I have posted a similar question today.

I've checked some mainstream tuners in Europe (BR Perf, Shiftech, whatever ...) : They are still in dev/cracking the ECU for the facelift Polo

The only way now is to use custom ECU and rewire everything ... The spark/coil/hardware stuff is second to that, tuners will try the existing parts from VW group and thats all
