Ambient Lighting Mod 2021 AW

Hi there,
This is my first post on this forum.
I recently bought my first car - a 71 plate AW Polo Match and currently looking on doing my first few tweaks/mods.
I am looking at installing ambient lighting, I am unsure in the first place whether there is an OEM mod for this but what’s putting me off doing it is if I have to control the lights with a small plasticky remote and not able to control them via the MMI.
I haven’t found much useful info at all online and most posts are with 6R or 6C versions of the Polo.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
