GTI (207bhp) Tuning accessories or lack of..

Hi Guys, long time lurker, first time poster.
Finally bit the bullet and purchased a GTI 207hp (ae) and I'm really enjoying the driveability of this little pocket rocket and all the modern convenience it offers me. The size especially suiting my lifestyle compared to the bigger golf not to mention the cheaper road tax etc.
Question(s)
1/ Does anybody know about the gen 4 DNND engine fitted to the AE and the differences compared to that of the Golf gti apart from less power. Are the mechanicals the same. Is the turbo the same as the Golf which conveniently leads me to the next question.
2/ I want to upgrade the turbo elbow for a more free flowing alternative. Unlike the gen3b there seems to be no information available and everybody I've contacted states the Golf mk 8 gti won't fit. Just wandering if this is speculation or fact.
It's not as if this model was brought out a few months ago either, so quite frustrating to find anything about this.
Update 05/06/25:
It turns out it's not do-able due to the turbo housing being too fragile. The bolt that holds the elbow in place can snap the housing when undoing, never mind tightening up a new part. So there we are, answered my own question
